The APS 2" Backing Plate is the solution to running a 2" plate on your PXE 80 to close the gap on even tighter spaces where the factory 3" plate just will not fit.
The metal core has a conical shape which is encased in a flexible polyurethane which makes it safer near paint, and an accidental tap will not have you questioning your luck or life choices. Being conical, you can easily see and guide the pad with minimal visual intrusion.
This may be used in rotary or 'throw' mode, with or without extensions.
