MTM SGS35
The newly developed Acqualine takes over the top position when it comes to triggers from MTM. This has the exact same bulky feel that got me hooked on the SG35, with internals that are upgraded beyond that of the SGS28.
Features include a live swivel in the base of the trigger to help you fight the hose, Ceramic ball for further corrosion resistance, and a plated valve. The housing of the trigger is a food grade material, meaning that it is manufactured by an ISO 9000 certified company and is of the highest composition standards.
Optional PRIMA fittings may be selected with your purchase
Understanding Temp Ratings:
Each MTM Trigger has a temperature and pressure rating. This rating refers to the capacity of the internal piping and brazing to withstand temps, not necessarily the fittings and o-rings associated with each build.
Standard fittings (used in each build here) utilize a nitrile o-ring which has a melting point of around 250ºF. This figure may vary depending on the changes in nitrile blend than can occur in production. If you are using this gun or any other with a heated system, it is advised that a PTFE or Viton o-ring is sourced to handle associated temperatures the gun will experience. This option has a 450ºF melting point and is better suited for your application.
The rating stated on the side of each trigger is for the trigger internals, and not for the associated components.
