Unfortunately, UV exposure degrades the clear coating and will start to change the color of the acrylic and make it foggy, decreasing how much light is emitted, altering the pattern, and it pretty much makes the front of your car look like trash.
The Koch Chemie Headlight Polish Set is a kit that gives you everything you need to resolve the problem. The set brings you from the sanding stage with 1000, 2000 and 4000 grit Abralon paper with a Velcro-backed sanding block. Two headlight-specific abrasives are also included, along with two polishing pads.
