The APS 3" Backing Plate is a direct replacement 3" solution for your FLEX PXE80.
Aluminum inner core with conical PU outer allows the user to see the pad while working. The real benefit to this plate is an effective lower weight giving the best possible compensation for inclined positions as well as the maximum possible pressure distribution when using the hard polishing discs or sanding pads. This reduction in weight reduces machine vibration by up to 33% compared to the included plate on factory units.
Understand, this is not a simple replacement part, but an upgrade that has had significant time in development and testing for APS to create something that will bring your polishing work progress. You will see an actual difference in its use on your machine. The plate is not rigid as the factory unit, rather it offers a mild flex which is suitable to use for sanding but also finishing down.
