Oberk APS All Purpose Soap

Oberk APS All Purpose Soap is a truly interesting take on an APC. Alkaline (9.5pH) and yet plant based, you can run this for a number of different jobs; exterior pre-wash, salt removal, bug remover, even cleaning interior surfaces with the proper dilution ratios. 

APS falls into the Swiss Army Knife category of products for me. Running at a 1:15 dilution ratio for most occasions, you will complete pretty much every cleaning task you can think of. I have been amazed of the cleaning power when compared to the surface compliance this offers. Listed above are some great 'area of use' options, but the random testing does not stop there. Let's talk about a list of odd jobs where APS has really delivered for me:

• cleaning vinyl siding (mold)
• composite decking (mold)
• vinyl window casings (interior / exterior)
• any undercarriage surface
• shower & tile
• lawn mowers

APS is unreal. We all buy a bunch of household surface-designated cleaners, and I have tossed so much of what I had taking up space personally because of the power and versatility of it brings ALL of your cleaning work.

APS WILL degrade a sealant or wax, so look to this more as a surface preparation product rather than vehicles protected in this way. With regards to a ceramic coated vehicle, an alkaline cleaner will help 'clean out' a coating and can be used. 

APS utilizes StayWet Technology which increases dwell time on a surface, keeping the active ingredients on the surface for longer and allowing it to work rather than quickly dry out- thus affecting the surface and creating spotting or other problems on finishes. Unlike other 'active pre-treat' foams, you WANT to wet the surface down before application. Allow the solution to work, and be observant of the situation and fully rinse off before the first signs of drying on surface. 

The appropriate dilution ratios are on the label. This is a professional use product, and it is necessary that you read and measure out your product instead of counting glugs into a foam cannon. Do NOT expect ultra-thick blankets when used through a foam cannon. Instead, APS is designed to lift and release dirt from the surface. All Purpose Soap is not really a soap from my experience. You would not put into a wash bucket and expect one bit of lubricity. That said, there is an unreal amount of cleaning power here once you play around and see its real capacity.
