Our diamond-infused Nero Ceramic Coating is an ultra-hydrophobic coating which can be used on PPF, vinyl wrapped or painted finishes.
Once applied, the coating becomes the active layer on top of the surface, protecting against chemicals, bird droppings UV rays & even minor scratches for up to 5 years.
Nero has a high active content, consisting of diamond particles, this helps to maximise gloss & protection whilst aiding the self-healing process, helping to keep your paint swirl free for longer.
Nero Ceramic Coating can also be used as a topcoat over our 9H Molecule Ceramic Coating, increasing scratch resistance and durability up to 7 years.
*All coatings require the use of gloves and a respirator/mask for safety. This is not optional but NECESSARY.

Real world installation & care:
Nero is an amazing ceramic, incredibly strong hydrophobics, and may be installed on nearly any surface as the formulation is compliant on any substrate. With that compliance does come some sacrifice. It is very important that a thin and even layer is applied to the surface. The work time is fantastic, but requires an eagle eye and two passes on the panel with a quality microfiber to ensure all of the excess material has been removed.
The cure time of Nero is very specific. Without the use of infrared, 7 days before being washed is an absolute must. Avoid touching the paint during this time. This will vary for each user based on temperature and humidity, but fair warning to be intentional with your process after install.
Care for Nero on any surface should utilize pH neutral methods on a regular basis. You may use an alkaline or acidic wash method when needed to restore the hydrophobics of the ceramic. I recommend this is done yearly IF needed.
Storage:
Any ceramic coating should be stored in a cool, dark place with no exposure to sunlight and extreme temps.
An unopened bottle should roughly have a year of shelf life. Once a bottle has been opened and exposed to air, the remainder should generally be used within the next 30 days. The coating, in most cases, can be 'shelved' for longer, but there is no implicit shelf life once a container is opened. Best practices at this point are to refrigerate the bottle to maximize shelf life after being opened. Storage is buyers responsibility once the container is opened.
