Koch Chemie Hydro Foam Sealant S0.03 is a concentrated wet-application sealant. With a suggested dilution ratio range of 1:50-1:150, the product is designed to be applied to an exterior surface after it has been fully washed and rinsed.
Wet application, a blanket of foam is meant to be put over an already wet surface to aid in the even dispersion of the solution to ensure proper coverage. Once foamed, allow foam to dwell briefly on the surface before fully rinsing off.
This sealant provides UV protection, rejects water and wet-contaminants from the surface. Suitable for application on glass, paint and trim. This brings a temporary layer of 'protection' to the surface in the same way a towel-applied sealant would, and durability is set to match that expectation.
S0.03 contains glossing agents and will effectively 'mask' imperfections and fine scratches throughout the durability term - perfect for the vehicle that sees more use than time parked for detailing and has a 'budget conscious' user or customer in mind considering the cost per application.
Product should NOT be pre-mixed and stored, but measured out with each use. Estimate 20ml of product per use with the rest water in a 1L capacity foam cannon (1:50). Scent is a fruity / cherry variety. As with similar wet-applicaiton products, manage your environment during application and avoid prolonged dwell time as it will cause streaking or spotting on glass.
You have one burning question; how does it stack up against others in this segment? Because this is new, I do not have a real world durability figure. Notes will be added in the future to this item description pertaining to real world effectiveness and comparison. That said, I know what is out there in this segment, and the competition is strong. Time will be the judge as will application process
