Oberk Rinseless Wash gives you the ability to wash, have a quick detailer, a clay lube, or a solution for wiping down interior 'hard' surfaces.
I've had a number of Rinseless products in testing ever since ONR was released. Honest though with all of them is that I am NOT a fan of them. Love / HATE (mostly hate)... but with that said, there is absolutely a time and place where this type of product is the only option, and it CAN make sense. Sometimes it is a necessary evil. It all comes down to your process, level of expectation, and how dirty the application surfaces are to begin with.
Let's be clear here and now; everything scratches. The softest towel, the best microfibers, the most slick of polymers. The 'older generation' of rinseless washes displayed difficult characteristics, could almost be grabby on panel, and left behind a residue that while the surface looked clean, further inspection revealed a film or haze on paint that was pretty much unforgivable by todays standards.
Oberk Rinseless is in fact different from the products of yesterday. Lubricants play well, and instead of a grabby feeling, you do get a very slick feeling towel movement over the panels while in use. There are no weird chemicals in this, so if you're doing a process with a wash bucket, its perfectly fine to just dump it out in your grass when finished. The smell is great, and at a 1:256 dilution ratio when used as a rinseless wash, it hits the mark of being maybe the most cost effective cleaning solution out there.
Ideally used on cool panels and out of direct sun. As per Oberk, here are the suggested dilution ratios:
I'll add into this that through years of trial and error, I dilute Oberk and any similar product I have in testing with Distilled Water. I've proven to myself time and time again that water quality is HUGE when cutting down a concentrated product for use. Dissolved solids change the way a product works, and depending on the situation, can actually work against you on some paints. It's worth the extra effort given how cheap each use can be when working with these dilution ratios, and it reduces variables in your work.
