The APS 50mm Extension Adapter FV50 pushes out the backing plate away from your FLEX PXE 80 by 50mm, allowing a bit more comfort and better working angles related to intricate situations when polishing.
These extension bars may also be linked together thanks to the precise manufacturing tolerances. There is no deflection or increased vibration in rotary mode when using multiple extension bars. Solid anodized aluminum construction, notched to tighten with an open ended wrench.
ATTENTION: these extensions can not be used with FLEX factory 3" backing plates as the factory plates do not have a relief cut in the threaded center. These extensions are designed with the intent of working areas smaller than what a 3" plate allows. The extension will accept the factory 1" backing plate.
These extensions ARE NOT the same as the FVA50 and cannot accept a polishing cone.
