Our Molecule Ceramic Coating is a true 9H ultra-hydrophobic coating. Once applied, the coating becomes the active layer on top of the surface, protecting against scratches, swirls, chemicals, bird droppings UV rays for up to 5 years.
Molecule can be used on its own as a stand-alone coating or used as a base layer for our Nero Ceramic Coating, increasing durability, and scratch resistance up to 7 years.
*All coatings require the use of gloves and a respirator/mask for safety. This is not optional but NECESSARY.

Real world installation & care:
Molecule is one of the easiest ceramics I have installed. Easy to read on panel, leveling feels very clean with a quality towel, and usually only requires one pass to get it perfect. Molecule boasts incredible paint clarity and gloss. The ceramic should be maintained with pH neutral methods after application, but it is suitable to rely on an alkaline (Carbon Collective Ultimus+) or acidic method (Koch Chemie Reactivating Shampoo) if hydrophobics start to fall off.
Molecule may be layered, feel free to do two layers (leaving 2hrs between layers) rather than slathering a panel with a thick layer. Reality is when a thick layer is applied, most of the ceramic ends up in a towel.
Molecule is also used as a base layer for Nero to be installed on top of. Allow 2 hours between base layer and top layer application.
Storage:
Any ceramic coating should be stored in a cool, dark place with no exposure to sunlight and extreme temps.
An unopened bottle should roughly have a year of shelf life. Once a bottle has been opened and exposed to air, the remainder should generally be used within the next 30 days. The coating, in most cases, can be 'shelved' for longer, but there is no implicit shelf life once a container is opened. Best practices at this point are to refrigerate the bottle to maximize shelf life after being opened. Storage is buyers responsibility once the container is opened.
