A standard practice among paint professionals is to work one panel at a time. This can lead to issues of hitting the edges of body gaps twice if panels are not taped. Regardless if you choose the 6" or 12", these will be the tool you reach for often if you need to polish hatches and doors. Especially in tight work spaces or just heavy opening doors, these hold it steady for the perfect condition to polish that panel. I picked up the 6" and use it often for tricky areas when I don't want to risk hitting adjacent panels.
